DonTheDime has achieved at least one breakthrough toward version 2.0 of his CtW mod (8-30-2004 at 14:06 post), which will feature approximately 213 territories. Europe MP/SP Scenarios

Another forumer, kommando has come up with a series of scenarios dealing with the other side of the Eurasian landmass and covering a thousand years of European history (Circa 800, 1200 and finally 1700).

Asian Diplomacy 1870 Ver 4

Veteran scenario designer Berlin9487 has come up with another multiplayer scenario. In this one, he says you "Choose from 1 of 10 nations. Every nation has a leader and at least one unique unit. Take cities from the neutral nations (orange), and other players. Ally, Battle, and Betray your way to dominate Asia. You gain money every 2 minutes from controlling cities." New RoNTP Ladder

Reflecting the frustration some have with existing ladders and rating systems, _RU_Dont-Tread-On-Me has launched a RoNTP league based on the 'Case's Ladder' engine. You can check that out at their ladder site.

KRG Clan Site Goes Live

The King's Royal Guard (KRG) clan site is now live. One unique and controversial feature is a Rise of Nations clans "World Map" graphically portraying the relative status of clans active in online gaming. You can visit their website from this link.

Coins' Hero of None Scenarios

Forumer Coins has produced a pair of new Multiplayer scenarios that combines elements of RPG and RTS. The objective is conquest. The mode is cooperative. One is for 6 players and a "light" version is for 4. You can grab the 6 player version here, and the 4 player version can be found here.

New Single-Player Scenarios

Several new single-player scenarios are now available!

At Rise of Nations Oracle we have: Birth of a Nation (North America
1776-1848), Pellenor Fields, Troy, The Beach. You can grab them from their download section.

Swiss Nation Mod v2.0

nokkio82 updates his Swiss Nation Mod to 2.0 improving the Nation bonuses. These include a revamp of the unit artset, +2 (instead of +1) range and damage bonuses to archer line, +3 range bonus to scouts and Free archer line upgrades. Rise of Nations Software Patches!

Rise of Nation Patch 4: is through testing and will be going live in a matter of days. This is largely a balance patch that will nerf Maya and Spain, as well as introduce some unit balance changes that those of you with the expansion pack already enjoy. Thrones & Patriots Patch 1: is currently in production. BHG has no release date for the patch at this time, as it still has to go through
testing. This will largely be a technical patch to address bugs.

WinXP SP2 May Be Good

Nokkio82 has done it again! This time he brings us the Canadians and the Swiss. Two nation mods for worshippers of cheese or back bacon. The Canadian Nation Mods allows you to control the vast lands of Canada, replacing the Dutch with Canada with the Power of the Manufactory. You can grab it here. UA Team World Championships

The Army of Isengard (AoI) has opened a most impressive official UA Team World Championship 2004 website! Games for this 3v3 clan-based tournament start August 28th and continue for several weeks with the finals scheduled for September 26th. Teams from at least ten different clans are already signed up!

Of special note: "The winner clan gets the OFFICIAL title "Team World Champions" aka "World Champions" valid until next Championship which will be next year :) (title confirmed by BHG)."

"Best Rise of Nations Writer" and "Mr. Rise of Nations" are two auxiliary competitions accessible from the tournament home page.
