Something that I'd like to see more of is something like the following:
I was playing the "Tactics" skill test and here's what I did. Please leave any comments and critiques that you may have. I entrenched my anti-tank rifles with a general facing east across a narrow passageway between trees at the north and mountains at the south and placed my 3 artilleries and a supply wagon behind them, facing east as well. I put my armored cars, tanks, and riflemen with a general and had them line up next to the trees facing south, so that my forces made something of an upside-down "L" with the trees at the vertex of the "L".
I set the general so that the sphere of invisibility of ambush covered only the riflemen, tanks, and armored cars, but did not turn on Ambush. With a scout, I lured the enemy right to under the upside-down "L" and they promptly attacked the anti-tank rifles. But right before they got there, I turned on Ambush with the northernmost general, rendering the riflemen, tanks, and armored cars invisible to the enemy. Once the battle got underway, I moved the the riflemen, tanks, and armored cars out of the sphere of invisibility and they attacked the enemy. It was a flanking attack and so with the attack bonus the enemy was easily defeated. I actually had to do this entire scheme a few times because not all the enemy would be lured at once. Any questions, comments or critiques?
The only problem is that I cannot find a way to display it visually. But that is what I'm talking about, and others can probably do a way better job than me.

I say, "When life throws you a lemon, wing it right back and add a few lemons of your own."
