i am getting RON on tuesday! anyways is there any way to choose what ages are starting and ending like AOK2?

Yes you can. Unfortunately you cannot set Post Information age to get all technologies, but you can set Early Information age which locks future technologies and nuclear weapons.

I thought that you could set regular Info Age and it would give the past techs, but maybe I'm wrong.
Also, small valley, please do stay active on these forums. We're looking for more people that play RoN to post often on this forum.

RoN is truly the best combination of an RTS and a turn based game. It has aspects of both that are truly unmatchable by any other title.

Actually I think Sins of a Solar Empire does it a bit better to be honest. But that game just now came out after several years. RoN set the ground for it.

Well, I do suppose your right, but as you said, RoN was one of the first "cross-genre" games that ever came out, so it did really set the stage for other titles.
