Some of us, probably most of us, have ways to amuse ourselves playing the game that don't actually help "play the game". What are yours?
Personally, I like renaming captured enemy Cities. I'll usually christen them after a family member/pet, a hero/person I admire of mine, or naming them after something of significance in the game. I often come up with "states" also, adding on a state name to my City's normal name (which is also a good way to group cities together).

Mine's kinda playing the game, I make like 10 spies go in a neautral/ allies nation, maybe chuck in a coupla units, They think I'm planning something, and ask me what the he k I am doing, then if they look weak, I declare war AFTER I put a huge army and forts On their boarder/ in their city.
Makes my day, if I do it successfully

I like to boom to the late information age and completetly level the opponents infrastructure with stealth bombers. Once every building and unit is destroyed, I then build a few infantry and capture all the opponents cities.

I try to mimic the opposing nation's powers. I mean, it's funny when you watch Russian troops die from attrition.

When I want my units to move somewhere, I constantly keep right clicking on the location. I also will click like five times on the Barracks building to hear the .wav sound file repeat like five times in a row, which sounds kind of cool.
