It was a 4 on 4 single player battle on hard settings. The setting startsand ends at Modern Age. I was playing as Russia with my allies Britain, Germany and..... I forgot the other one but it don't matter. My enemies were Mongol, Korea, Japan and Dutch. I quickly built up my economy but the one of my greater problem was there aren't much huge mountains for me. I found a huge mountain on its upper left side are forests and on the right are plains. But it was near a Korean town (we're sharing that mountain but I control the majority) so I quickly set up a city and hastily constructed its defences.
As time went on, after some skirmishes I was finally able to launch an offensive. I am to conquer Korea while my allies are completely tied up fighting the joint army of Mongols and French. I can't give 100% support to my allies but so are they. I attacked tha Korean town from my right side and met heavy serious, stiff resistance. Like what Russians did in real life, I was stubborn. I had many attempt to flank them with small army but usually fails. Most of my time my attention is on the right flank so the left side...
Was attacked. The Korean built a strategic city(I only realised later). I attacked it but captured several times. I anticipated this attacked though. There were many small joint attacks by Korea and Mongol but this one is really huge. It was solely Koreans. Tanks, infantries, artilleries etc and several spies. The left flank was guarded by my small army. 3 spies, 2 special agents, 4 tanks, about 3 infantry and 3 bazookas and 2 generals and 3 Katyushas. It was 4 to 1 battle. My Katyushas rained salvos on the enemy position while the infantries hold them up. I bribe tanks, eliminate spies and snipe the generals and infantries. It was wave after wave of enemies. I committed only few of my newly produced units to that flank and sent huge air support which proved virtually useless.
Then the battle was over. I won. A small band of trucks changed the tide of war. The Katyushas. I never appreciated the true potential of these trucks until that victory. I attacked that town and burned it to the ground so no armies can ever use its strategic importance. Eventually, the alliance won. All would've lost if it weren't for three trucks.
