Quoted from ODA:
check out our front page news...i posted a list of media coverage articles on ROL which describes some more of the details from what they saw at E3
I took that advice,,you should too, after reading this thread =)
It looks like an awsome game, I can't say that enouch.. Quoted from Gamecloud: Rise of Nations – Rise of Legends: Here was a shocker and surprise; Big Huge Games decided to go in a totally new direction for their next game by making a fantasy RTS game. And boy does it look great. The combo of fantasy elements like dragons with steampunk technology really give the game a unique look. Meanwhile Ensemble played it a little safe with Age of Empires III…oh well. Quoted from gamemethod: Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends appears to be one of the most promising PC titles we’ve yet seen at E3 2005 Quoted from Gamershell: I am eagerly anticipating this release!!!!!! It seems to me(by the way, most of the things I tell you is things as they seem to me Quoted from gamershell: In Rise of Legends, your cities are INSANELY large. Your city will no longer be a single element, but will be a complex comprised of different districts such as a palace district, military district, merchant district, etc. Quoted from Gamershell: The city upgrading is based on the amount of districts located in that city, once you hit another number you can build additional palace district. The larger your city, the better units and buildings, but the more expensive new districts are. Ugh,,I go off writing new threads with so much ethusiasm(sp?) and when finished I'm allways so disipointed,,sorry if this is a mess, but chip in what you think/hope/ would like to dicuss/propose when we discover RoL =)
I'm not alone either.
Just to tell you that.
I think you will be in the game( much like the lord who you are playing in stornghold is in the game, you can controll him around,,this will be a hero figure in RoL.
I hope there is some midle points or something though,,so that you sack diffrent posts and take controll of land,,before lanuching a ultimate sige on your opponet's city..
Citybuilding anyone?
I think expanding your city is much like upgrading in age in RON..I don't really like the thing about upgrading age,,clik and your in next age,,I find this thing better(or I think it sounds better)..
