I can think of tons of stuff I'd like to see added into RON, some of them a little on the unrealistic side though.
-Firstly I think it would be great if you could have a CtW multiplayer, though it would definitely have to be fought over multiple days which means saving progress to host pc after each battle and then continuing at a later date.
-More TECH!!! Maybe it's just me but I love to be able to fine tune my arsenal's capabilities. So maybe like an extra slot after Builinds and Military Builinds such as 'Research Structures' or something where you could buy things like propoltion and ballistics labs etc.
-More CIVS!!! (And Australia has to be included:-)) I think most people wouldn't mind having more civs.
-Additional Units - I know this would mean the game size would go through the roof but it would be cool to be able to purchase more unit types, especially in later ages to add an extra dimension to the game. Such as BMP's for a general purpose lightweight amphibious tank, ZSU-58 radar guided anti-aircraft etc.
-Larger maps, like the ones of Empire Earth.
-Some re-balancing - I don't know what you guys think but I feel players can fly threw the ages far to fast, so much so that it is barely worth having the ages. In ten minutes with standard resources I can get from ancient age to Industrial.
-Realism - I'd like to see unit stats more realistic, especially concerning splash area which I believe is far too small with some of the weaponary such as the B-52 and MLRS units. Also more in the way of weaknessess of units and strengths, which was there, but probably not as much as I feel it should be. For example Anti-tank weaponary should be more effective against tanks than it is and less effective against infantry units. And infantry should do less against armoured vehicles. And ships and naval units, I hate the system for naval fights in this game, I actually think the one on Empire Earth is better. Ships just die too quickly or something. All I know is I much prefer naval battles on EE.
-Special Forces - I'm not sure what everyone else thinks but I for one would be happy to see SF able to actually shoot other than the sniper thing. It just seems stupid that they can't shoot back, even if they only had the same stats as a conventional warrior they really should have something.
-More Campaigns - I know many modders are making their own such as the WWII but I would think it would be good if it came included in RONII (Assuming there will be one)
-Commercial Structures - It would be good if thriving cities automatically spawned commercial buildings which symbolize the economic strength of the city - it could even effect the income rate of $.
-Player Profile
+Leadership- I know in TaP they added the government feature but I think this would prehaps be better included into the player profile section so a player can select if they are an autocratic ruler or whatever and choose their method of government such as socialism, communism, capitalism, nationalism (maybe).
One thing I didn't like, or was agnst in TaP with the govt section is that you can in real life have a democratic capitalistic government just as much as you can have an autocractic communist govt so why can you only research one?
+Statistics- It'd be cool if player stats were recorded such as victories, defeats, units killed, units lost, towns captured, nukes fired, points and RANK! Rank especially because it would be good to see in multiplayer battles how good another player is. Though this would have to be encrypted to stop modders like myself from changing them:-)
-Paradrop - this would add a whole new dimension of tactical fighting.
-Fix - Stupid pop-up thing that says things like your city is under attack or whatever, I find it is more of a nuissance than anything. Couldn't it make a chime sound and have the message box anywhere else but the dead centre of the screen?
And I'll leave it there before I wear my keyboard out :-p
