I was playing the Napoleonic campaign on Easy, taking the French command and then the African command (I combination of Directorate commands I had not tried before).
Through brilliant leadership, I mastered Switzerland, the Iberian Peninsula, and lastly Italy, and fought my way into Bavaria. Then began my problematic scenario.
I made alliances with Prussia and Poland. I had defeated the Ottomans by capturing Lombardy, placing an army in Syria, and using said army to topple Turkey.
I had spent money bribing the Austrians not to fight me for some time, so I spent one of my peaceful turns invading Brandenburg, destroying my non-compliant Prussian allies. Of course, Russia got their Baltic states out of the deal.
From there on, I defeated Austria in a delightful mission: the Battle of Wagram.
I'm in a bad spot, though.
If I can just take the Dutch, Sardinia, and Poland (all possible) I will be satisfied, as I will have unified the European Mainland. However, I only have three turns left and want to topple all of the Crowns of Europe.
None of the nations that can be bribed are being compliant, and I have yet to take:
Russia
Great Britain
Sweden
Dutch
Polish
Sardinians
I have armies poised where I can attack ANY one of their capital territories, part of my superior geostrategy. Well, my geostrategy isn't working here.
I can try dusting off one of the nations worth a lot of money (Russia or Great Britain) and hope that I can buy the smaller nations, enough that I can take every territory, but I'm not sure.
What is your advice?
