Ok folks, ready to start a new mod.

The name is "1939-1945 Second Great War" and of course it's focused on World War 2.

It will be playable as normal mod and in the CTW version.

The CTW version will be installed overwriting RON core files this to can play of Army of One's (Legend017) WW II CTW campaign mod and use of the editor to create scenarios for the mod.

Wadis10, Scorch6294, Army_of_One, Coldwar Warrior,the Great Valdemar, Edilberto, MrYaR and Smarty (Martin R.) are already part of the team.
Anybody wanna join the project is wellcome.

The idea is to use years instead of ages:
- 1939 (ancient age)
- 1940 (classical age)
- 1941 (Medieval Age)
- 1942 (Gunpowder Age)
- 1943 (Enlightenment Age)
- 1944 (Industrial Age)
- 1945 (Modern Age)
- 194? (Informatio Age - an ipotetical year with the developement of secret weapons and units what have never seen combat times as war ended earlier)

Research rules at the Library:
- except done for civic all other level research are limited by the age reached.
For example: you cannot research the military level "Nations-in-arms" before you reached the 1945 year.

Thanks i have already finished the first map but i can't wait until this mod is done to tie the whole Axis & Allies up

Anyway is there food in this kitchen u are locked in? or isit empty?

I can possibly skin a decent Go229 for you guys. Also I can do a Liberator bomber for you out of the Lancaster if you guys want one, I just need a specific theatre paint job(Europe, North Africa or Pacific - I could do all three it doesn't take me long to skin vehicles). I can reskin any of the other WW2 aircraft if you want - a new B25 paint perhaps.

I might also modify a building to make submarine pens, you could possibly give them to the Germans and give them lots of hit points similar to the ones Germany had on the French west coast during the war.

BTW I'm having a problem using paintshop when skinning the vehicles, whenever I go to change the alpha channel it goes all white and I can only see the areas of the unit that have team colours. Anyone know how to deal with this? I don't want to really move to Gimp because it would be a new learning curve and it will slow me down.

check the main Age of Tanks folder (where there's the info.xml file) there should be a file "" it contains the file to see mod buildings. unzip it in Thrones & Patriots art folder and you'll see them with the editor. Yellow dot is marking houses or offices used by the mod.

BTW there's food to prepare, that's why I'm locked in the kitchen

Submarine pens would be pretty cool. With the liberator, it would be nice to have a Jungle skin, a desert skin and a normal skin. You could use the Pacific theatre as the jungle skin, the north africa theatre as the desert skin and the European theatre as the 'normal' skin.

Also, what's the plan for missiles? Should we just have America being able to build nukes in 1945, but other major powers being able to get them in the hypothetical age? Should V1 and V2 rockets just go to Germany, and maybe an Ohka rocket for Japan?

In the hypothetical age, we could put in clones of the V-2 rocket, such as the Soviet R1 rocket Germany could even get more powerful V-3 rockets in the hypothetical age.

Coldwar Warrior and Nationgears are caring about the table of units, so maybe it's better to wait one answer by them.
I can talk about the structure, as there are 4 kinds of missiles, if we have V-1 and V-2 rockets plus Ohka rocket and nuclear missile we have all rooms used.
But we are thinking to have nuclear bomb dropped by a bomber, if we can realize it there is one room free for the soviet rocket.
I think I can talk for everyone saying that till the 1945 we follow what is history, about 1946 we are free to manage it as we like, more depends on rooms left free from previous years to count the secret weapons we can realize..

Nikox, did you see the addon i included, in the test mod of mine, I used the addon file with a yak model, and did the ammo trick except I added the super entendard model instead of wheels

It is finally the weekend! So im ready to help!

First, I do all the screens and finish the pieces

Then I'll look at the unit chart
and I'll send the marine barracks and unit graphics for all the units I was working on, (ex, carrier, carrier sub, 262, and 264) btw, gus, could you skin a me 264 from the cut outs i'm sending to syncplicity?

If we can get the nuke bomber to work, I wonder if we could get artillery to fire gas shells.

Wadis: The russian rocket is a copy of the v2 though. The Americans and the British also had their own copy of the rocket and the v1 after the war. How about we have a rocket test site or something unique to the Germans, if the allies capture it, they could research them, and build them at their own silos

Dark Rebel: At this point, We don't have any files, Just some Skins and Tribes diagram at this time. I well post, some news that about soon.

Well guys i know this mod is far from finished which is y my time is gonna be spread extremely thin......
I am going to contiue entering new scenario skinning for this mod and skinning fo my new mod that will begin construction around may/June//TODAY!

Now Africa look like it did before World War 2.

Note to the team: I well be putting update soon. Just fixes in Africa, and Now Main player's are at war. But the USA isn't in it yet.

Alright, I sent all the ctw playing pieces, the US loading screen (old version and new) and the Japan and US defeat screens. I also sent a modified unit list, that includes units that I uploaded and units made by Valdemar and others.

While going throught the list, I had an idea for the airbase.
Slot 1, 2 and 3 would stay the same, but slot 4 would be for recon. These aircraft would be unarmed, with a great line of site, and out of reach of aaguns. and Helicopters would either replace them or be moved to the marine base. The 5th slot would be for heavy bombers, (such as the liberator, lancaster, me264, and b-29) which would have a longer range then other bombers. This could also be the slot for the nuke bomber.

Pls can you upload yours (also if it's incomplete) so we can compare them and start to work on a common one?

Coldwar warrior, have you sucessfully made two types of bombers for the same nation that can both be constructed at the same time, while 'bombing' in the same manner as the regular bomber? Similar to what is discussed here:,5988,,10

e.g. a Flying fortress and a liberator being able to be built at the same time but both behaving like a regular bomber.

Hey Dark Rebel,
here a set of units to test you:
- Allgemeine SS
- SS Sturmtruppen
- SS Panzer Grenadier
- SS Waffen Grenadier
- Pionier

Make some research on their uniforms and equipments.
You're free to use any infantry model (.bh3) you find in RoN (TaP) art folder.
Of course the desert, snowy and jungle camo are appreciated.
