Ok folks, ready to start a new mod.

The name is "1939-1945 Second Great War" and of course it's focused on World War 2.

It will be playable as normal mod and in the CTW version.

The CTW version will be installed overwriting RON core files this to can play of Army of One's (Legend017) WW II CTW campaign mod and use of the editor to create scenarios for the mod.

Wadis10, Scorch6294, Army_of_One, Coldwar Warrior,the Great Valdemar, Edilberto, MrYaR and Smarty (Martin R.) are already part of the team.
Anybody wanna join the project is wellcome.

The idea is to use years instead of ages:
- 1939 (ancient age)
- 1940 (classical age)
- 1941 (Medieval Age)
- 1942 (Gunpowder Age)
- 1943 (Enlightenment Age)
- 1944 (Industrial Age)
- 1945 (Modern Age)
- 194? (Informatio Age - an ipotetical year with the developement of secret weapons and units what have never seen combat times as war ended earlier)

@ VelvetClaw,
till this is my thread and its about a specific mod: 1939-1945 Second Great War. You're NOT ALLOWED to use it to build your own CTW or mod. Give notice to consult interbellum.wikia.com as a website to get information on this mod is WRONG!!!
I invite you to open your own thread about it and if you wanna be a collaborator of this mod you're wellcome, but you have to accept this mod main guideline.

Nikox: I need you to rejoin the site and forum again, if don't mind. On BUILD-CONTINENT i agree. On the nations. implement on my mod to yours.

I start working on that. Its been some time. Do you remember the nations i need to update? Sucks on had all that on old forum. sigh.. Well back on forum. We need to re-put that back site again.

Haha. Maybe i should add wiki or something. so do you have any new ideas for the mod? Oh by the way, I do still have all the files on syncplicity if u need them.

the choice I made of the nine tilesets or continents is intended to cover the main countries and war theaters.
So we can have:

- default as mediterrean buildings
- neurope as north european buildings
- asian as chinese buildings
- korean as japanese buildings
- american as british buildings
- arab as egyptian buildings (suitable for African war battles)
- eindian as german buildings
- colonial as united states buildings
- iroquois as soviet union buildings

You know my ideas (we already spoke about it and I already sent you examples of what I mean), anyway the French-style timbered buildings are fine for North European countries, but I think we need more modern buildings.
One example for all are the BK2 buildings used by powermlmlml in his mod.
They can be adapted to our use as follow:

About french vehicles, the limited number of available units and the lack of tank models barely cover main french units. The use of prototypes as the SOMUA Spg or the CHARS G1 is far to be realized. The ARL 44 would be a good idea to have it built at Secret Weapons wonder, but right now this is limited to main powers.

Thanks for the list. I shall mull it over and then report my decisions to you, but for now: for Egypt and India, re-use the old, whitewashed Arab set, as the buildings therein are what Muslim architecture in Africa resembled.

Nikox: I start on nations for the campaign, As you know I had Indians as Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and Greek as Greece, So i got three territory with no owner.

Am using 2GW tribes in my game. So this making my campaign use them. Not like how i had it before.

India territory's are part of UK. I guess i add them as new commonwealth, they join Canada and New Zealand, plus Australia.

What do you think if would just make neutral nations and independent country one nation?

Thanks to you guys for offering me use of your Age of Tanks roster.

Briefly put, naval forces aren't that dynamic: it takes some time to build them up, so it is most likely that you will be facing off against one another using trawlers (the fisherman is now equipped with a low-grade machine gun) and destroyers at the beginning, but Germany and Italy can bring out S-boot variants...

Some factions are required to upgrade their units from an existing unit, or to another unit - for instance, America can't build cruisers - it can only upgrade battle cruisers to Baltimore-class ships, and France must upgrade its aircraft carrier to a better version later on. Although this is Age of Darkness-related stuff, I didn't want to confuse people by adding stuff such as the Midway-class carrier for the USA - the Yorktown-class is enough.

Hi Mythic,

Nikox ordered me to produce skins for his mod - and that is what I will proceed to do. Note post 330/342.

Not all the work that I have produced per se is for "my own use" - some of it is exclusively for Nikox' mod, and not my own (such as the German tileset because I have no space left). It just so happens that when it comes to "universal" items like wonders, the prospect that they will be shared simply can't be avoided completely. That one, I can admit to.

Nevertheless, if that is so required, I can produce a new thread to host all the designs for review.

Wadis10 was doing some test exporting models took from another game.
This doesn't mean they're better than yours, we just wanna see if it works.
I think in next weeks (I know he's quite busy right now) he can export your models too.
