uthum876 how many polygons are in those guns or the unit altogether? that FAMAS seems to have a lot of polygons in that first pic of your work in 3ds max.

Good Effort. I find with my modelling(using Maya) is that unlike what vanilla Ron has, you can make a detailed and accurate model with a good low poly count, especially for vehicles like tanks.
My main concern is doing the bodies of aircraft like the Starfighter, because it is circular, I don't want it to blocky if I have to knock the poly count down.

Do you think you could export and set up the animations for a model I've been working on?
I want it to use the industrial age artillery animations.
Also do you know a site I can upload the model too without having to have an account.

Excellent work gus,
Buildings are not actually 3D in Rise of Nations, it's all an illusion. You just need to create a 2D image (or find one) to make a new building. Take a look at my WWII mod, and look at the new wonders and you will see what I mean. You also need to fiddle around with the numbers in buildinggraphics to make it appear roughly on the foundations.

Thanks Wadis10 for the help there, I am going to create all sorts of new buildings (within limits) such as unique buildings - NATO and Warsaw Pact fighter bases, Strategic airbases for long range bombers, spy-planes, and so on.
I must ask, is there a limit to the size of the foundations of the buildings? The city appears to have the largest foundation/base, is that the max limit? As I would like a bit more room for my airbases.
BTW: I've made a basic model of the English Electric Canberra and will be steady making more models, but I must admit I am yet to UV map them properly and begin texturing them, so perhaps I should get those done first before making to many models. If any of you guys have any hints or helpful comments on doing the UV map that would be a great help.

That is a gorgeous F-15 man. Any of you guys have models/skins you'd be willing to share? I haven't progressed to modelling yet, as I've been working on a mod for just over a month now. The primary focus is between the Classical and Enlightenment age. What do you guys use to edit your TGA files?
