Does anyone know how to make a territory unclaimed? I've looked through many files, and have not been able to find an answer.
I've tried the following and it did not seem to work:
ctw_give_territory("Territory", "", 0)

Do you want to make the territory unclaimed at the start of the campaign or during it? If you want it unclaimed at the beginning, I believe you can just open the main campaign file (CTW_campaignname_MAP_01.xml), find that territory's entry and delete the "owner=" part from it. If you want it to become unclaimed during the game, I'm pretty sure what you have there should work because the Alexander campaign does something similar.

I looked in the Alexander files, and saw a line like that, but it was commented out. Still, I tried it in my ctw again, but it just would not remove (unclaim) the territory. The territory does have a supply depot. Could that have something to do with it? If you have the time I'd appreciate it if you try doing something like this in your own files to see if you can get it to work or not.

Well you should first try removing the supply depot and testing to see if it works then. I'll have a look to see if I can get it working, though I have little experience with campaigns.

I tried with a territory that doesn't have any bonuses, and still the same thing.

Don't know if you solved it, or if you're still interested, but taking a look at the nuking scripts for Cold War CTW might give you an idea, if not an outright command for removing ownership. Will update if I find out.
