Everyone feel free to post your new coming scenarios in this thread. Currently, as many of you know, I am currently working on an, "Ancient World" Mod, that should add another element to RoN.

No problem.

Also, if you need any help with scripting or something that is not included in the scenario guide, just leave a reply here or make a new thread. I've learned a considerable amount about RoN scripting since then, so I should be able to help you.

I'm going to finish off the Canadian part in my S.T.O.T.W. campaign. Then move on to an extra-large scenario based around the Siege of Sarajevo. I already have a few scenarios for other theatres of war, but I won't be releasing them until I take a slight break and figure out a bunch of things and make the Sarajevo scenario, I might need some a lot of help on it.

Any chance you could help me with my scripting troubles? For some reason, I cannot get some units enabled.

Remove "Midieval Age" as a research pre-requisite for the unit and set it to "Military 4" or something. Some bad news: I have no idea where I will get a map of Sarajevo with all its neighbourhoods. Some good news: I've already started the Sarajevo scenario and I've finally learned how to use triggers!

How do you remove Medieval Age as a prerequisite?

I don't know how to script it, but in the Scenario Editor all you have to do is go to the unit, press "edit" and under "pre-requisites" switch "Midieval Age" to "None"

Editing units doesn't work on the mac version, but luckily, there's a prerequisite trigger: set_preq.

I can just use that and I should be set. Thanks for the epiphany.

I'm so happy!!! I got it to work!!! I can't believe this. I must have tried like fifty combinations of triggers, but now it FINALLY works!!! Thanks a ton for the epiphany.

Triggers and timers are quite awesome I must say. I also cleared everything from one of Tomba's scenarios and I now have a real Extra-Large-Tomba-Sized map for my Sarajevo scenario.

Speaking of which, what happened to Tomba?

Thanksgiving hasn't even taken place!

American Thanksgiving takes place November 26, 2009, however the date fluctuates by year.

Because of this, we will release the scenarios on November 23, 2009 so that ODA has time to confirm them all.

Do you know of any way to increase the range of the "snipe" ability on special forces? The rance is quite low right now and I want to increase it for my Sarajevo scen.

Well I wont be working on my Island battle for a while, but I can tell you the story.

The Island has resurfaced due to global warming, and has avoided satellite detection due to some unknown reason.A Project by the Greater Middle Easter Union(North Africa-Pakistan) has discovered by accident, and it is not long before the world knows about it and sets out to occupy it.Latin America and ASEAN have banded together,Along With NATO,Russia,India,China and the Alquada,Who have mysteriously followed the NATO ships. The year is 2025.

But Do will I have to make 8 different scenarios for each nation?I want them all to be playable.

For Lordliam:

I would go into the Units tab in Scenario editor and click the edit button. Then, find the unit you want to modify. If you can't modify the range of the snipe ability, then see if you can find the snipe ability. If you still can't find it, then come back here and leave a reply.

@ NightBlade: No, making nations playable in scenario editor is child's play. You can just submit one scenario and let people chose their faction or, put a popup dialog choice right at the start that lets you chose your faction. I don't recommend making 8 scenarios, the site probably won't allow you to upload it because of the size.

@Sargon. I found the ability in the "craft" file, but I'm not quite sure how you make the game load the edited file only when you play the scenario. Please enlighten me?
