But please no untested fantasies.
And if you have tips, info and strategies provide upload links to them if you can.
(the scenario i made is very simple to make and you can test it out any time)
Apropriatly i should contribute 1st.
This was from a scenario i made to test the time needed to take down a maya city in two major stages small city (I-II) and (III) large city. There were 8 parts to the test
1- 3 hoplites vs 1 small maya city
2- 3 hoplites vs 1 small maya city + temple*
3- 3 pikeman vs 1 large maya city
4- 3 pikeman vs 1 large maya city + temple*
5- 6 hoplites vs 1 small maya city
6- 6 holpites vs 1 small maya city + temple *
7- 6 pikeman vs 1 large maya city
8- 6 pikeman vs 1 large maya city + temple*
The results were:
1-death of 3 holpites in 1.39
2-death of 3 holpites in 1.39
3-death of 3 pikemen in 1.56
4-death of 3 pikemen in 1.56
5-The city was captured in 1.04 min(3 hoplites with GHB & 2 with YHB)
6-The city was captured in 1.30(5 hoplites with YHB)
7-The city was captured in 1.35 min(2 pikemen with GHB & 3 with YHB)
8-The city was captured in 2.25 min(2 pikemen with GHB & 1 with YHB & 1 with RHB)
* temples had no religion upgardes, i dont know how to arrange this in the scenario builder.HELP!
-I was not really suprised with the death of the 3 hoplites and 3 pikemen.
-A temple added to a small city buys it 20 seconds with 6 holpites attacking.
-A temple added to a large city buys it 50 seconds with 6 pikemen attacking.
-The Maya city under AI will fire at 2-3 enemy units in sequence.
I'll do more testing on how much does multiplying the number of attackers, decrease the time needed for a city to fall.
And when i find out how to do it in via scenario builder Maya cities + religion research + building research.
And i'll continue to update this post as i progress.
