I'd like to see a Science Fiction RoN (which I have dubbed Rise of Space).
This type of game would have both human civilizations, and aliens, and would include space combat/civilization.
What are your opinions or ideas for this?

I've got to get RoL. It seems like it would be really fun, especially when I get bored of RoN.

The graphics are sooooo good! I'm really surprised.

Honestly, I don't see a big difference in graphics. It looks about as good as Age of Empires 3 (which I do own), and I was impressed by those.
The units are cooler than I expected.
Here's some possible resources that could be in any follow-up to Rise of Nations/Legends:
- Energy: You need it to power vehicles and buildings. It doesn't replace, Oil though: instead, you can turn Oil into Energy or produce it using "green energy".
-Textiles: Any cloth, silk, or similar items. Gathered from Textile Farms.
-Happiness: Represents population mood. Not sure how it would affect you (maybe it could raise the productivity of the population, or make it harder for a spy to bribe your troops/easier for your spies to bribe), but it would be gathered from Civilians called Entertainers (like in Civilization).

I certainly would love to see another BHG RTS that would have more scope of a turn based game than they both currently contain. Happiness is one aspect that would certainly be nice. Expanded Diplomacy and a more complicated tech tree as well.

Diplomacy could be expanded to include "Protectorates" and "Trade Alliances". For example: an ally is much smaller than yours. You can offer for it to become a Protectorate, in which case the player of the Protectorate Nation still has control, but you can set "tax rates" on resources.
Or a Trade Ally could be a nation that isn't like a true ally, but does special trading with you: both nations get each others Rare Resource bonuses, and Caravans traveling between nations generate extra resources or some such.
This would probably over-complicate the game to death, but I'd like to see manufactured goods in an RTS. They could give benefits to units and buildings, but only ones "equipped" with it (they'd be manufactured with the right Rare and Basic Resources), such as, say, Electronics or Furniture.

Trading technologies would be nice too. That's really realistic. And how about trading territory, such as forts and cities. Also, people should have the option to capture forts instead of just destroying them.

The Centaurites
Power of Mass Industry
- 100% bonus selling and using Products
- Every Factory increases Population by 10
- Civilians are 25% cheaper
Unique Buildings:
Factory: Slowly churns out a specific Product for free.
Unique Units:
Excess Men: Excess population (unemployed workers, due to a huge population); they train in batches of 10, and for only a low Food cost, but are very weak.
Reprogrammed Machinery: Factory machinery reprogrammed into the form of a battle mech. They have an advantage in that they can actually trample other units, and smash stuff (with a slow attack).
Physical Appearance:
???????????

If there were to be a mod, we can't make it dumb like Empire Earth.

If we make robots, they actually have to be pretty cool and not dumb like how they are in Empire Earth.

Yeah, the robots would just be like, well.... drone planes. Controlled by a central computer.
Maybe that could affect a robot army.... destroy its place of origination and it dies....

I'm throwing around ideas for a sequel (pretend the word "sequel" was italicized), not a mod.

Gosh I wish they would make a sequel to RoN and RoL. Both were such good games and I would love to see new versions of them.
