this mod has been made by the M.O.D. brotherhood(marce,probed and wakain)
-this mod adds the zeppelin to the industrial age arsenal.
it's slow and strong versus buildings and units who can't get away in time...

this mod was started by probed and marce for the scenario
"Grit, A Shovel and A Thingey" by marce and probed.
after that wakain got enthousiastic by the idea and he worked out
a new texture and some beta data,which probed finished...

nemesis000 i tryed your download but when i started a match the picture of the zeplin was a raft and it was just a giant bomber.
flyers I downloaded the mod and loaded it correctly. However there are two bugs. I played as the Americans and at the barracks and the load up screen their all their uu (their infantry) showed up as black boxes. This did not happen for any other nation. The Zeppelin showed up but its symbol was a fire raft that took up 1/2 the box. It also showed up as a helicopter when you select it in the air. I liked the Zeppelin though (maybe a little to modern looking for the industrial age) it works fine and it pretty powerful. Don't sweat the firing animation it adds a little humor. It is amazing how long it took (not your fault) but we finally have a Zeppelin.
probed1969 @nemesis. You have to have a little imagination. ;)

@Flyers. Wakain has uploaded the wrong iface tga file. That's why the Fire Raft is showing up. I just checked out this version of the mod and the American UU showed up as normal for me.

The helicopter icon is just how the game responds to messing around with new air units. (It may also have to do with the fact that wakain made this to be like a helicopter. Because of it's speed it would constantly need to refuel. It will change to a helicopter at Modern Age.)

New air units also don't like to leave the airbase as normal planes would. Giving the airbase a rally point or scrambling the units will get them to come out. Also making a control group helps to manage them a little better.

I updated the file. It has the correct iface tga's now. I didn't have wakain's instruction text file so here's what to do...
In the zip folder are 2 files (TGA) for the icon and a folder. Put the folder (Zeppelin) in your RoN mods folder. Copy and paste the 2 TGA files into your TaP art folder. It won't overwrite any of the games original icons.

nemesis000 no really it was just a giant bomber it looked like a bomber from the modern age except bigger

Not sure what to tell you. I just double checked and it's working fine for me. You put the Zeppelin folder in your RoN mods folder and the iface.tga in the TaP art folder, selected it from the menu and played in industrial age?
nemesis000 whats the ron mod folder called i cant find it
probed1969 If you don't have it you have to create it.
Put it in the RoN folder.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations\mods

Then put the zeppelin folder in there.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations\mods\Zeppelin

Then go to quick battle and click on game mods. The mods will appear there.

nemesis000 still does not work the raft picture still there and it says it is a helicopter also it wont come out of the airbase

You're not reading all the instructions. If you follow the instructions I've given it works as stated.
Thecrayfish good- i like the skin alot. i notice that it also adds skis to the commandos like in grit a shovel and a thingy

the animation is wierd though, couldnt you have used the bomber animation instead of the heli?
