probed1969 What's happened to your technique Axel? The last few skins look like they've just been sprayed painted by a graffiti artist or something. On this the wheels and all are painted. The method you're using now makes them very non distinct and hard to see in the game. You're earlier uploads were much better.

probed1969 I always look at the tga file.

Hard on people? I try my best to be objective and give constructive criticism. Am I supposed to say it's fantastic when it's not? Your earlier skins were better. The latest ones are not as good. Take a look at these objectively if you can and you have to see the difference. Maybe part of it is the graphics rendering on my PC versus yours, but in the game they're very hard to see.

Look at edilbetro's skins. He takes a lot of time and puts a lot of effort into his.

When you upload files it's with the implicit knowledge that they are open to comment. Even the world's great artists receive criticism.
uthum876 chill out probed....its really hard to skin vehicles...Trust me. As far as I know all Ediliberto does is infantry skins....vehicle skins are on a whole different level. At least give Axel some props for trying....no ones perfect.
i have to agree with probed on the technique. his technique isnt nearly as good as the last time. this time its very muddy. i think he should know so he can evaluate what changes he made that didnt work vs what worked before. the previous one i would say it was better then even edilberto's Panzer IV one's that i reviewed. this time i cant give a passing grade.

again i will suggest the same thing that i made to edilberto on his PanzerIV tank skins. Copy a layer of the original on top of your modded skin, the apply it as a filter with around 50% opacity in softlight. I did it with your skin and it worked wonders on it, with just 5 second of work.

Infantry skins are sandbox! My first skin was a Assault infantry skin.
probed1969 @uthum: I am chill man. I've been giving Axel props for his good work, I even included a couple of his skins in my mod I thought they were that good.

He has some talent. He'll never improve if everyone just says 'they're great, keep doing what you're doing'.

Does no one here understand constructive criticism? Skins are art. This is not a popularity contest.

The downloads section is full of useless crap. Some people seem to think it doesn't matter what you upload as long as you get SOMETHING with your name on it on the board.

I'm surprised that someone who spends so much time on his mods would not expect a high level from other contributors.

Honestly, i was suprised by your thougts on this skin.
uthum876 Probed...wat r u talking about? When I first started out I used to produce loads of crap. Beginners will be beginners. Everybody needs time to grow. As i sed earlier...NO ONE'S PERFECT!
