North Korean (N.K) leadership is encouraged by the astonishing victories of Iran over the W.C on Israeli territory (download: “Fire from the Sky: Persia Reborn”) and has decided to move forward with its own nuclear program, testing a bomb deep underground in its own soil. This test is anything but secret, it really is a direct message to the Western Coalition (W.C) that they will not be intimidated and that is willing to go to war, now with nuclear capability…
The Western Coalition can not afford fighting a nuclear war in two fronts and must act quickly…As the commander of any of the two sides of the conflict, you will have to be careful of the decisions you take when building and deploying your forces…
Story Line:
Even though the nuclear test was successful, the North Koreans are not quite ready for war… In order to be fully capable of fighting a nuclear confrontation, they urgently need a large supply of Uranium. Pyongyang (NK’s Capital) has sent a diplomatic party to all capable nations that would be willing to sell this element. In this effort, NK’s ambassadors have forged secret agreements with several “anti-WC” nations and a large shipment of Uranium has been dispatched to a secret location somewhere in the North-West of Pyongyang. Once the Uranium is on N.K soil, they will be fully capable of launching a full scale nuclear attack on Seoul and Tokyo, as their first steps towards the conquest of the Pacific Islands, and later, the United States.
W.C intelligence knows about this large shipment of Uranium but does not know what path the 3 convoys will take in order to get to the North Korean missile silo site. All that the W.C knows is that these convoys will be smuggled through Chinese and Russian territory..
The Chinese government has publicly declared that is against any nuclear test performed by their North Korean neighbors, however, it is very well known by the W.C officials that several top ranking Chinese politicians are sympathetic with anybody who would stand against the United States or its allies, and so, an Illegal Uranium shipment sent to NK through Chinese territory is most likely to pass through. The W.C will have to take care of the convoy by itself and prevent the NK to get a hold of the Uranium, If the W.C is successful, a Nuclear War will be prevented and only conventional weapons will be necessary to restrain Pyongyang from its conquest dream, but if it fails, the W.C will have to face annihilation as it fights against a Arab-North Korean alliance…
Behind the scenes, Russia is closely watching how these events develop and carefully calculating its odds…
Please be kind and rate.

Playability: 5
Played out excellently! I played as WC but lost. It certainly has a little replayability as well.
Balance: 5
Forces were well balanced like it should be. Countries were allied and made for a fiar game.
Creativity: 5
I have not seen a scenario on here yet about NK. Certainly without a doubt a HOT topic! The convoys made things intersting in the beginning.
Map Design: 5
Very very good job on the map. It looks fairly accurate in this theater to RoN standards.
Story/Instructions: 5
Nice job here, news pop ups and things, it all came together nicely.
Additional Comments:
The is an excellent scenario, I had to five star is all the way. It starts out at peace and you just have to concentrate on stopping the convoys. Then it ends up into an all out war. |

Great, never Crashing.
Balance: 3
The only problem: the WC and NK are equals, but WC is helped by japan.. result: we can take Seoul, but when we do the japanese send everything on so it very hard to play as NK, and very easy as WC.
Creativity: 5
The 2nd War of Korea! exept than this time, NK must face the world alone....
Map Design: 4
Good, but some details and more cities could have been added to gve a more realistic scenario. Russian Capital is Moscow, but Moscow is in Europe.
Story/Instructions: 5
Well given instruction, i had lot of fun with NK triying to defend uranium, and triggers are amazing. Lot of info at begining.
Additional Comments:
I recomand to download it to everyone. Only Very good players can win with North Korea, but Western Coalition is easy. i spend 1 hour on it to take over only south korea and try to destroy japanese navy. Persia Reborn, as Iran, take me 30 min to total victory. NK is a Challenge. Great Job. Cant wait the next one!! |
