Saving the World - Timemachine Series
By Spyridon
Here is my first (ever) scenario . It has 5 PARTS. It is a "saving the world scenario" because the world is about to be destroyed. You (Dr Owen Chamberlain) have the opportunity to save the world with a Timemachine you have invented! You have a lot of enemies to face and.... I won't say anything else so you will have more fun in game... I strongly recommend you to play the next PART only if you have finished the previous one for more fun. Don't try to give up quickly, as they are not very long-timed PARTS so enjoy it. I have two versions of each PART. I strongly recommend you to play the Normal Version and not the EASY one. You can play the Easy Version if you are playing Rise of Nations Trones and Patriots for no more than two weeks.
PLease, Comment and suggest. But only after you have finished all the PARTS
If you like it , try my other scenarios (by Spyridon) which you would can find here , when I will have created more.

Easy to play, but waited a lot for the enemy's attack, specially in the first part.
Balance: 4
I found it relativelly easy to win.
Creativity: 5
Excellent idea! Integrating the future and past was something I've seen before but not like it was approached here.
Map Design: 4
Map was ok, but with such a great idea a more detailed map would have worked wonderfully. I guess you put more attention in the plot and units. Very good anyway.
Story/Instructions: 5
Well done in the instuctions using the pop ups. I exactly knew what I had to do.
Additional Comments:
Excellent story. I would be waiting for your next scenario. |

Thank you carcf2002, Lord Mitcharda and Lion Eater.
In order to change a unit's or building's name,
when you are in scenario editor, you choose "units" you click on the unit you want to change it's name and the select "edit".
Then click on when it says: "name" delete the previous name and then write the one you want.
Then choose "ok" .
For the popups: Choose "edit script" and then write something like (for ex):
scenario
{
run_once {
popup_dialog("Alas! All is lost!");
}
}
And write the message you want between the two ( " )
Remember to save the script text ( File, Save) before you save the scenario.Contact me for anything else. You can find my e-mail in the Readme file you have downloaded with the scenarios. Please review if you have time.
I'll try to make new scenarios soon enough.[Edited on 08/03/07 @ 10:26 AM]

Spyridon.
My pleasure. I got a lot of feedback when I started doing scenarios. They helped me a lot, especially in the scripts.
Please note my last scenario: "300-The battle of Thermopylae", which was created using a realistic map of the region where the battle was fought. Also take note of the script I created to go along with the scenario.
From one scenario designer to another...could you please play the scenario and rate it?

I am now back (I was on vacations) and I will start to work for my next scenario. The story is a surprise.
(carcf2002, I reviewed your scenario. Very good!)
