Needs T&P?: Yes
Today the Unites States of America stands as the world's most powerful nation in terms of economic and military might as well as international influence. The United States is also committed to the ideals of individual and national freedoms, which are often loudly boasted by US leaders.

This has not always been the case; in the 1860s the USA occupied only a small fraction of the area it occupies today. America was also politically unstable at this time, and irreconcilable differences caused many of the USA's states to secede and form a seperate confederacy. In order for the USA to become a dominant power, these confederate states had to be brought back into line. The native American and Mexican nations would also have to be conquered or severely curtailed for US dominance to be achieved. European empires in the Americas were in decline in this period, but the British and Spanish empires in the area might be aiming to rekindle past glories.

The American Civil War, which caused the deaths of at least 700,000 Americans as well as the US conquest of the "wild west", which caused the death of 70% of the Native American population are popular and romanticised images in the American public conscience. This might help explain why the USA is such a violent and dangerous place today!

"Birth of a Nation" is a silent movie from 1915 which depicts the "reconstruction" of the southern US states following the civil war. It is an absurd film, which portrays the Ku Klux Klan as heroes fighting the Union army, which is mainly soldiered by African-American (white actors with painted faces) rapists.

It was highly playable, however I had a few prbloems with the confederates, though... that goes more along the lines of balance. Other than that it was relativly easy to play.

Balance: 3
The confederates were almost impossible for me! The fact that they have such a large army and thier cities are closer together than most of your other foes makes them a tough threat. I was able to beat them only by hitting Alanta with my northern troops hard enough and fast enough so they asked for peace. Then when the confederates went to richmond due to thier programming, they were killed by attrition. Everyone one else was easy though.

Creativity: 5
I haven't see many Civil War scenarios so... yeah.

Map Design: 5
Great Map, not much more to say however.

Story/Instructions: 5
Story and instructions were laid out well enough.

Additional Comments:
Comring from a historical stand point, Florida was confederate during the civil war, but still.

Loved it, non-stop action and a good representation of the power balance of the time.

Balance: 3
Confederates were really tough, I had to rely on
the mexicans to help me wipe them out.

Creativity: 5
Don't see too many Civil War maps around.

Map Design: 5
This was the strongest part of the map- flawless execution.

Story/Instructions: 5
Cool idea, my one qualm was how aggressive the British were.

Additional Comments:

As always, you make really cool maps that I always download and enjoy. Keep up the good work!

Great, I especially liked the beginning. I usually hate it when I have a lot of resources, but I found it white enjoyable. However, it was annoying after the CSA was defeated that everyone declared war at once.

Balance: 4
Again, the only complaint is that everyone declared war on me at the same time.

Creativity: 5
I thought you were crazy allowing subs, destroyers, and advanced MGs in the scenario. Actually, it was a good idea that balanced everyone out and made for a unique game experience.

Map Design: 5
This impressed me the most. You acknowledged the industrial differences of the North and the South, as well as balancing the territory each side has, which is usually an obstacle for a scenario.

Story/Instructions: 3
Again, after the CSA was destroyed all hell broke loose, and it didn't feel very fun anymore. It was still enjoyable, albeit frustrating because I didn't know what to do or how to do it.

Additional Comments:
Try sending in Advanced MGs or subs/irreplaceable units to every side after every 10-15 minutes, since they tend to get destroyed the quickest.
