This is only my First Scenario so please tell me if you see and glitches. Thanks.
Ok the update is out. I just hope it works this time.
Oh and there is a stupid glitch that adds the Capture Berlin objective after you liberate France. ignore it then please.

It's an OK scenario, but since there's no spare space, you can't build a lot or adapt your nation
Balance: 3
Yeah, this is good as well - the countries are all at relatively accurate strengths, apart from Greece
Creativity: 3
Tons of people have done these types of scenarios, and a lot of them are done better
Map Design: 1
This isn't your map, and don't deny it - I've seen this exact map in the Europe scenario. You even left the buildings the same
Story/Instructions: 3
Hmm, good at the start, and relatively simple to follow
Additional Comments:
First, I've looked at the accompanying script - which is very good for a first scenario - but having a good script will not make a scenario good automatically. You must do your own maps for scenarios, or at least, change some other stuff, like buildings and cities
Second, for a scenario on all of Europe, there's nothing about or in Norway, no Yugoslavia, and Greece is too strong.
Finally, your script, whilst good, is far too complicated for this scenario - you clearly used a script maker, but give no credit to the map makers or script making program's creator. That's like plagarism |

This is only a first draft of my scenario. The script seems to stop at the battle of Britain. i still have to fine tune the script. And for the map, it was part of the cold war scenario that came from the game. I did make the script with just the rise of nations script editor. |

It was ok. Too many units for my taste (especially considering the map, which is on a large scale. Heck D-Day involved an army as big as the whole of Normandy!). Then came the Nuclear Russian Roulette. That was aweful. I'd have no problem at all with giving a 1 rating here, but I didn't because the rest was quite ok.
Balance: 2
Poor to say the least. The Soviet Union got a good smacking by the Germans, then the Greeks. Historically, the Soviet Union was never conquered, so that's not very balanced. I do think that every "battle" was quite challenging, so that was ok.
Creativity: 1
Done a million times and this time was not better than any other. Sorry, but isn't very creative. It would have been different if the quality was high, but frankly, it isn't.
Map Design: 1
Not your map and you didn't give credit to BHG, who did make the map. Sorry, but that's a no-no.
Story/Instructions: 3
I felt that it was too forced. I hardly had any space to do what I wanted. Some spelling mistakes too, so that downgrades it a bit.
Additional Comments:
For your first scenario, it's pretty decent, altough the lack of map let you down. The scripting was impressive, so that's not a problem. Next time, make your own map. It's not that hard and doesn't take a very long time (unless you make a really big and really detailed map). All in all, keep making scenarios. Your scripting talent is there, now use it.. :) |
