15 December 1944. The Western Allies are extremely confident and most believe the war will be over by Christmas. General George S. Patton is preparing for his planned attack into Germany in a few days time. Little do they know, that the Germans would launch a major offensive the next day.
This offensive was ordered by Hitler, and is to use Germany's last strategic reserves. The preparations have been carried out in utmost secrecy. Even the name of this operation, "Watch am Rhein", meaning Watch on the Rhein, suggests it is a defensive operation. Three armies, the 6th SS Panzer, 5th Panzer, and 7th Armies have been assembled to carry out the attack. These armies include 250,000 men and over 1,000 tanks and assault guns.
The assault begins in the early morning of 16 December. The objective is to punch through the thinly held Ardennes sector which has seen little action for months, and has been nicknamed, "The Ghost Front", by the Americans. The 6th SS Panzer and 5th Panzer are to cross the Meuse River and sieze the vital port of Antwerp, and in the process surrounding the Allied armies in the north. Meanwhile, the 7th Army is to protect the southern flank. The aim is to kick the Western Allies out of the war and concentrate on the Eastern Front.
The Ardennes sector is only held by new recruits with no or little combat experience, and units that have been severely mauled in the battles in the Hurtgen Forest. They are no match for the Germans, and the Germans make good progress at first. The Allied high command at first thinks this is a spoiling attack to divert Patton's forces. However, they realise this is a major attack after a while, and Patton's US Third Army from the south and the British forces under the command of Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery in the north hit the Germans in the flanks. The Germans lose the battle and end up in their starting positions.
You have the chance to change history and win the war in the west for the Germans. The fate of the Third Reich rests on your shoulders. Will you capture Antwerp, or will your forces be destroyed by the Allied armies?
Changes:
I have finally fixed the problem with the allies being at war with each other.
Playability: 4
Surprisingly, there wasn't any lag. However, I thought that it was dumb that the Americans were at war with the French.
Balance: 3
The Germans were too powerful.
Creativity: 3
I've seen this scenario and WWII before, so this wasn't that creative.
Map Design: 4
The map was realistic, but I thought that it could have been better
Story/Instructions: 1
There wasn't any script.
Additional Comments: 3
Please learn how to make a script. Once that is accomplished, this scenario will be much better.

The Americans were at war with the British (!) in one version of this scenario, the Germans aren't too powerful (I had to build more forces to finally reach Antwerp with virtually no starting economy!).
