The Campaign "Socialist Rising":
In 2012, capitalist governments will collpse, socialism will prevail and the proletariat will finally come to power... Or will they? Ignore this part: (Pick a side, capitalist or socialist, play, win or lose, announce it as a comment, and I'll make more scenarios according to which side wins each battle! The capitalists are easier to play, but require more player wins for a campaign win(25). It's the opposite for the socialists (10).)
Close to the end of Gordon Campbell's last term in office in BC(2012), Carole James rejects the new budget that the Liberals draft up and half of parliament storms out of the room. They travel to Prince Rupert where they raise a following and declare their independance. Play as the NDP freedom fighters or the Liberals who want to keep the peace!
The Liberals start with many resources, but no military, except for a few production bases. The NDP on the other hand, have almost no resources, but they have dozens of partisans, a few copters and a good number of Armoured Cavalries to get them conquering or to boom their economy.
Not very heavily scripted. Only disabled things are new cities and wonders. I wanted to not let the NDP research capitalism as a government and vice versa for the Liberals, but it didn't work. I'll make a new version when I know how to do that.
I disabled nukes and restricted the governments you can research!
Nobody is commenting! Come on! I want to know what you guys think! And if you've won or not! I probably won't post another scenario for a while. The computer that has Rise of Nations on it doesn't have internet anymore... Change of plans. I won't need use input on this, red will always be the protagonist faction (the one that's supposed to win) but you will always be able to play as the one that doesn't.
