Coldwar Warrior Haven't been able to check the files yet. Saw the Archilles and Hellcat. Hellcat's chassis is good, but the turret skin is distorted. As for the Archilles, I think we'll need a differant turret... but what?

Meanwhile, I think I solved the semovente case:

This sould be the "semovente L40" (cannon on the side) and the other one, already in game, is the "semovente M41" (centered cannon).
Coldwar Warrior I'll deal with the M41, along with the rest of those units, don't worry about it. ;)

The guns right but now the models wrong! :(
Like the Honi, could you merge the howitzer in there but without the gun?

That model though, it does resemble a German Hetzer.

...ehm ...how to say it?!

It was a mistake, or a game bug, but, when I reloaded the semovente, the cannon was back in the middle ...sigh!

..ok, I'll use the model for the japanese Ho-Ru.
Anyway it was a prototype as they had no tank-destroyers..

Coldwar Warrior No hetzer then? :(

We'll see.
I love the idea to create it, but I don't know how it can be hard.

Tested the Achilles on the Hellcat model:

What about the Humber??

Coldwar Warrior Humber's good, nothing more to be done there

Archilles: Looks like the Hellcat turret will have to do, I can't think of anything else. But Now I think the Hellcats turret could change. I'm thinking, give the present hellcat turret to Achilles and make a new turret using the Sherman turret, but keep the gun

Achilles and Hellcat are both on a sherman chassis, if I use the model turret it will be the same size as a normal sherman what it was not. If I try to put an enlarged sherman turret, from another model, it will stay too much up on it. What about to use the same Pershing solution (T80 chassis, Sherman turret, KingTiger cannon) on them too??
..ehm ..it's not tested yet!

Another model what I think it's completed:
Somua S-35

Coldwar Warrior The Somua's perfect

Now about the hellcat, I think we could try that, not sure how it'll look

You know, I'm surprised nobody tried merging units before us. Especially uthum or ODA

"...You know, I'm surprised nobody tried merging units before us. Especially uthum or ODA..."

It was not in my mind to do it before I met you too ;)
Btw do you know if they are around here still?
uthum was the one really good with graphic effects orders...

About merging models, if we wanna use two different models for turret and cannon, we need they both accept the same animation orders to move them together (for example CHAR_ATTACK1=mediumtank attack1).
Otherway one model is turning turret right left and the other one the cannon up and down or vice versa.
The turret moving sides up and down is really funny, but not so much realistic :)
So, all medium tanks are using almost the same orders but they don't match with heavy tanks ones...
One solution would be to change their nodes order (uthum has done it with biped models), but I've no idea how to do it.

Pershing:
No way, the sherman turret is too small, if you enlarge the model it stays too much on top of others models:
