Ok! I'll look at it, but next time you'll send a skin to me put some data too ..pls!!

Pershing, no way, turret and cannon must accept both the same orders otherway the cannon move, but not the turret:

...and I tested it giving to sherman all other possible CHAR_ATTACK order:
- mediumtank Attack
- kingtiger Attack
- lighttank Attack
- hvytank Attack
- armoredcav Attack
..etc ..etc

Something what I don't understand:

- when you talk about "trailevent" are you talking about PARTICLESYSTEMS in effect_graphics.xml?

- "..Could you tell me how you got these units to work in the game without.. erhm... crashing?" are you talking about merged units??

As crews: rules, in units_graphics.xml, to run a unit with crew, keep the firing unit as main with all firing actions and took them away from the crew (and the BOUNDINGVOLUMES too), set CHAR_IDLEs to default and keep the CHAR_WALK, CHAR_JOG, CHAR_SLOG animation (not all units use all of them, keep for crew the same of main unit and if the main one use all three and the original crew model don't, add them at it).
For some crew is enough to have the line with name, model, texture, cache, scale and the same tex_id as main unit. Without anything else.
Set cache=1 and scale both to fit each other.

Is it what you asked me??

WW1 Airbase: As I said before, a ww1 airbase doesn't have pavement, though this still could be used as an inter war, or for some nations.

Pershing: Hmm... maybe Simon 1 will know
For the turret: Sherman's still not working eh? how bout a churchill chassis

I did include graphics in the one I sent before this one. and I'm talking about TRAIL EVENT or found under some of the ammo in effectgraphics

ok, finally I understood what you meant (I told you I'm becoming older, soon you'll have to talk to me louder too...).
Added the following string at the end of the stuka wheels ammo blend:

TRAILEVENT node="0" width_div_100="1600" time="300" team_color="0" color="0x7fffffff"

But any change I apply to it have no effect..

Coldwar Warrior Yes I know, guess its a dead end. Maybe if we used a bigger set of wheels...

Airbase: Yeah... the British and french airbases weren't really dirt runways but fields of grass, or whatever the terrain was. I think the best thing would be do just get rid of the runway all together like I had. It is better then the first one. You could use it for the Americans at that age. Use my airbase for the British during the modern age (just bring back the radar)

This gravel runway would work for the Americans at this time though

As for the British and french one, let me see it, I'm going to make it a little more British/french looking and remove the strip

About the turret promblem, this is what Simon1 said,

"If you want this unit to look good, you need to alpha out certain parts of the textures."

"You need to put cache="1" in the unitgraphics.xml entries. That syncs them up."

I could look into this, but I'll need the unit graphics for the pershing
