This scenario is about the rise of various European nations. While the event do not all necessarially happen at the same time, hopefully the scenario is enjoyable. First off, I suggest a high difficulty for the Noblity and invader nations, or the rest of the world if you prefer to be the invaders. Take the territory you want quickly, because after a while you will begin to encounter resistance. Also, you can build cities, but they cost a lot of money and take time to build. Only European wonders yet to be build are availible for everyone, and they too are expensive. Here's the basic storyline for the 7 normal nations:
England:
Unite the noblity on the British Isles under the flag of one patron monarch. Parliament has convinced some, but for the rest, you must conquer.
Russia:
Throw off the Mongolian invaders that have conquered your nation and expand your Empire.
Germany:
Unite the German states of the so-called "Holy Roman Empire" and show Europe that Germany is a force to be reckoned with.
Spain:
Spain has been in the hands of the Moors long enough. With your united Kingdoms of Aragon and Castile kick the Moors out of your country.
Italy:
The City-states of Italy need a strong leader (not the Pope) to ensure their survival in the modern world. Unite them in the name of Italy.
Ottoman Empire:
As sultan of the Ottoman Empire it is your duty to expand your empire and make it the biggest threat to Christian Europe of the Medival world.
France:
Centralize the power of your country under the monarchy. Take out the princes and nobles with their own cities and fortifications and rule France with a absolutist iron fist.
After you succeed in you primary goals the game goes on like a normal Rise of Nations game. Nukes, when/if you get there, are more expensive and take longer to make. Critique would be much appreciated. Enjoy!
Playability: 4
It was fine besides the fact that the human could control every nation.
Balance: 4
The "Moors, Mongols, and Lesser Nobility" nation seemed pretty overpowered at points in the game.
Creativity: 5
I'm yet to see a game like this. Definitely an original idea.
Map Design: 4
Overall, the map was well laid out, but I thought that you could have put some more time into making the cities actually look like cities.
Story/Instructions: 1
There wasn't any script at all. I wish that you had put a script in that would let the player choose which nation he would like to play as. That would have solved the chief problem.
Additional Comments: 3.6
Please learn how to make a script. That and the map are the only parts that are detracting from the success of this scenario. Overall, this is a great idea, but it just wasn't executed well.
