NOTE: This scenario was designed using RON Thrones and Patriots Scenario Editor, without custom scripting.
SITUATION: You are Maximus, once a leader of Roman legions but now a lowly gladiator due to the jealousy of Caesar. You lead a group of Spanish and German gladiators in a large arena under the watchful eyes of Rome's citizenry and Caesar himself. (Your color is orange.) Maximus and his closest band are designated as Boedica generals, with extra hit points.
The arena is large and square, with a giant statue of a gladiator in the middle of it. Smoke rises up from sacrificial pyres and braziers. The Romans call for blood. The battle is joined!
Opposing you are four other nations--the Africans (a mixture of Nubians and Bantu, very strong player; blue), Persians (green), Egyptians (light blue), and Indians (elephants in the center; yellow).
All of you are at war with each other. You will immediately be dragged into the fight against the Indian elephants. After you drag them down, you must decide where to go. You have two choices, really--go against the Africans (top) or Egyptians (bottom).
No matter what, it's going to be a very close game--can you win?
VICTORY CONDITIONS: Eliminate all enemy gladiators to win. If your gladiators are eliminated, you lose.
PERSONAL NOTE: I made this scenario just for fun. This is the type of scenario you download, you take five minutes to play, you play once or twice, and forget about it. But for those 1-2 times you play it, it's fun and not your usual scenario to play.
Thanks, Warspite! I appreciate it. Glad you're having fun playing these scenarios.
(By the way, if you do any scenario design yourself, how to you put in-game instructions? I've gotten a lot of requests for that but as far as I know that requires a script, right?)
