Well, it starts of at about 1 frame per second because there are so many units on the screen, two massive armies fighting across a wall of houses... I think I started with 120-something units. This scenario is basically a ridiculous hackfest for a while, and only becomes remotely tolerable after the initial chaos ends.

Balance: 1
The enemy AI is useless - after the beginning battle I was never attacked except by a single Legion accompanied by a supply wagon, so I was free to build up an army and march against the computer's cities at my own pace. I took two cities, including the capital, and he never moved his army to stop me. Also, the AI doesn't seem to build anything but HI, so you make an army of longbowmen and he can't touch you.

Creativity: 1
Not a particularly creative scenario. No triggers or special events at all. After the initial confrontation, which is a massive mutual slaughter, the scenario just becomes a normal RON game that is mediocre at very best. You build cities, you build units, you take the enemy capital. That's it.

Map Design: 2
Well, the wall is mildly intriguing (despite being incredibly annoying. The Roman cities (mainly Rome itself) look pretty good, but I don't know why the Colliseum is in Brundisium... or, for that matter, why all that separates England and Italy is a wall and a couple of forests... The map layout is not terrible, but is not particularly likeable or interesting. The map is pretty much split in half, and nothing else has been done with it.

Story/Instructions: 1
There is no story other than "Romans vs. British," and the realism of even that is severely lacking. Why exactly is it that the British king is named Louis XIV? Or that the Roman leader is "king of rome?" Who is this fellow "Louis Bonaparte," who happens to own a big wall across EnglandItaly? I wish the author had at least taken the time to rename the leaders. The are no instructions, no objectives, no readme file... but as the scenario is insipid, it isn't hard to figure out.
