This mod enables CTW unique units to the scenario editor; it helped me in the Waterloo scenario! This mod is not mine so here goes the author comment:
Unzip this file into the RoN:TaP folder.
If you want to play multiplayer, replace the mod file with the original again.
Pay attention: Save you original unitrules file in a seperate folder!!!!!
Only use this mod to design scenarios in Multiplayer it causes OOS.
People who don't have this mod can nevertheless play scenarios.
These units are already in the unitrules.xml but they are hidden.
I made a mod that allows you to place units in the editor like
Heroes
Alexander
Napoleon
.......
CTW Units
Humvee
Nuclear Submarine
Conquistador
Junkers
Imperial Guard
Barbarian Units
.......
New/Beta CTW Units
SAS
Patrol Boat
Siege Ship
Harrier Jet
.......

Wakain, to be sincere i dont use this MOD to play just to create new scenarios. i never used him to play normal scenarios or CTW.
i didnt detected any bug of it, if you found someone, let me know, ok?
The only thing i know is that this MOD is excellent to create Scenarios!!! |

Hey KingWalker, good work lately--just getting back to the game after some time away. I'd like to use this, otherwise it's a real pain with scripting to try to introduce these CTW units into a scenario design...
****
never mind the rest of my message (deleted), I just got the files to work. excellent![Edited on 04/02/05 @ 03:02 AM]

I like the concept of this mod, as doing the whole cheatkey thing is rather tedious. But I can't get it to work. I unzipped the whole file right into the RoN:TaP folder and nothing happened, I also put it in the mod folder, again nothing. Is there somthing I'm doing wrong and just not thinking of it, or is my game data to screwed up for some reason. Any answer would be welcome. Love your other mods by the way, FANTSTIC.[Edited on 04/06/05 @ 09:34 PM]

Hi everyone,
I dont know how you are doing it, you just need to replace the unitrules files by this one... and in the scenario editor the units are there!! i didnt tested in a normal Quick Game mod, i dont know if its that is rong in your game!!! |

Ok I figured it out. I used the search program to find the original unitrules.xml. You forgot to mention that when you save the mod you have to put it in the data folder of Ron:TaP, over the original. PWAZAHHHHH !..!, rock on.
Side note: do you know where the art file for the imperial guard is? I have another mod that turns them blue and I like the red better. |

Additional Comments:
Excellent Modification, it saves alot of time compared to using the script to put units in, and opens many more possiblities for scenarios to be made.
