Vygor's Modified Canada Nation Mod

Author File Description
File Details
Needs T&P?: Yes
I believe that the files are installed into your Thrones and Patriots directory, the original author said to put them into the default directory but I think these instructions were incorrect. So the canada jpeg image goes into your thrones and patriots directory and the rest of the files in the mod folder from the zip go into your mods directory found in the thrones and patriots directory. If these instructions are incorrect I apoligize.

Changes to the game:

The population cap has been changed so that you max out at 650 instead of the original 200

Changes made by the extreme gameplay mod have been used and changed to my liking.

I changed the text for the Mountie to reflect the changes I have made, it is now a RCMP unit.

I made it so the native scout and RCMP can be built at the barracks. The RCMP is basically a beefed up Dragoon, shoots fast, has armor, and replaces the flamethrower and is first available during the gunpowder age. The native scout replaces the normal scout and has been given a weak bow attack. The lancaster bomber has been made available to the Canadians. The original mod added the blackwatch, highlander, spitfire and cf-18 to Canada. There are 8 unique units now.

Well hope you like it, I do!

And of course I thank the people whose original work I have used for a base for this mod. Of course the new graphics you see were found in Nokkio's mod.

I started a thread in the modding forums if you have any comments!

wakain don't you think it's very irritating if no-one ever comments?I do.

I suppose it would be nice to get some feedback if anyone likes or hates what they have downloaded. I am interested in so many games right now so its okay. I have played DontheDime's Conquest Compaign with the mod files I worked on replacing the original game files and it is pretty cool being Canada. The mod is a tiny bit better than the original I think and using the new rules.xml the game plays the way I like. Don's Campaign at least adds a bit of variety to the campaign game and of course totally makes the world completely huge, I will play more later most likely to get a better idea on how I like his mod. If someone really likes the work I did they will post so no worries.
wakain well, I hadn't really much replies on my work so I wanted to talk about it.
File Author
Well, Wakain, you got a couple of 5's for your greek skinning work. If you want to redo the unique unit skins in my upload, you could just edit the ones included in my upload and I would reupload and give you credit and use them in my game but if not what would you like to talk about?
wakain I was just pointing the "not-commenting"
of people.
I'm happy with my 5,
but it really would be nice if I would see a new comment of someone, you know.
so I give people without much comments(none in your case)a comment.because I would appreciate it(and I've been to aom.heavengames and saw how many comments there where).

Cool man!
wakain what's cool(or were you sarcastic?)?
File Author
That's cool you wanted to comment under my mod cause of the lack of comments you feel that you see on this site!
wakain thank you then.
(at least made one happy:D)
GodofNowhere No sure about this mod... The canadians seem too powerful, I can't be beaten, the ressources just come in too fast for you to spend them, I'll look at it more, but its just too much for Canadians

I'm a Canadian myself so it's not like i'm telling you they're loosers, but...
