Northern Egypt, the town of El-Alamein. This battle is one of the most decisive battles in the war. It signalled the turning of the tide against the axis in N Africa and then in all of Europe. FM Montgomery must breakthrough the axis lines in El-Alamein.
In this game you play as the British and must defeat Rommel and breakthrough the axis lines. The map was accurately reproduced and the name and unit types are extremely accurate. The source of most of my info was this animation.
Although you can follow the actual plan of the real attack, you have no obligations to do that (there are no script triggers and etc. It all up to you to decide what the battle plan is going to be. You final Job is defeat the axis and breakthrough their lines. Although i extremely recommend you watch the animation first to know what to expect in the game. The axis are on the defence and so dont expect them to counter attack strongly.

In the game every unit is renamed according to their historical names and each is give it's historical weaknesses and strengths.
Planing is everything in this game, and although it is lightly scripted, the battle is very exciting.
Following Motgomery's original plan is a very easy way to win this battle although the real fun is trying to come up with another plan and see if you are able to replicate his success.
In conclusion, there are two things to watch out for, the anti-tank guns that are placed in depth along the front lines and the next is the depth of Rommel's line. Breaking through these thick lines is going to be a nightmare.
at last!!!!!

Thanks for the great review everyone, actually I did not plan to make this scenario, but while I was aimlessly surfing the net, I found this link that showed me a virtual battle of El- Alamein. As i saw the animation i suddenly realised that no one has ever done a map about a WW2 battle. The original scenario that i was planning to do included alot of triggers and toolbar command based of Mongommery original plan but I scraped it altogether beause it no longer felt like a game and more of an animation. I found out that in scenarios like this, the best thing to do is to leave it with a light script and let the player choose what to do.
Again i would like to thank you again..
