Since this year marks the 200th anniversary of this battle, i decided to make a naval battle scenario. One thing I noticed was how horrible the RON scenario editor can be in regards to naval maps.... It took me one whole week to just debug this scenario. However in the end i succeded and made this scenario. There are tons of surprises in the scenario. Try it and please come back and give it a review.

Of course I couldn't do that in my scenario because i would have had a lot of complains about the balance and so on. |

(Hi LGP, this is a good scenario but i have to say something to you. note i have a big respect for you but in this game i dont understand why did you used the "scale" script funtion on the battleships, once you dont have any other kind of units it was not necessary to give reality to the scenario, it just created a problem to the game, it turned very dificult to move the naval fleet, somehow its very hard to select the ships due to their large size...)
Balance: 4
(Good job with the objectives of the battle, very realistic, since i know this battle!!! but when i played it became very easy, its a little easy to catch the main enemie ships!!!)
Creativity: 5
(Since i know from some forums that is very hard to make sea battles on RoN, i have to give you my congratulations, nice job!!!!)
Map Design: 4
(Good job, i know that in a sea battles there is not much to put in, but you could create some more eyecandy, maybe in that island or even with fish in the ocean!!)
Story/Instructions: 5
(Excellent work, once again your instrictions and your accurate names of the units are great.)

I dont know what you are complaining about there stormeye, the large ships with the reduced speed makes the game much more realistic
Balance: 5
Nice and easy.

Great use of the unit_scale function. Well done
Map Design: 5
Not bad, was the island really there or not
Story/Instructions: 5
Original and correct. although i wish you could have renamed some more ships.
Additional Comments:
Great scenario from a great scenario maker. |

ronmaster, in first place.. hi!! i was not complaining in first place, secound, i was not speeking to you but to LGP.
I dont know and dont want to know what are your criterion to make a review, thats something that only concerns to you.
the scale toll is very nice to use in RoN, is beying used by much designer now! my point here is: if you dont have nothing to compare scale, why use it?????
get it??
Thanks! |
