Ascalon, if he obviously spells the names of these countries in such the same way a German or Dutch person would, one would probably take the hint that English is not his first language.
And also, the Finnish only won for the first part of the war, until the Soviets regrouped and overtook them in 1944.

why did you've chose the russians instead of a more logical finnisch option?

Finland "lost" both wars(winter and continuation war), but we managed to defend our country from Soviet invasions and we kept our independency. So we got two defend victories. And sorry about my grammar, I'm Finn.
