Japanese Zero Mod

Author File Description
LordCirone This mod will make the Zero, a unit already unique to the Japanese Civilization, a unique unit, with modified stats and its own icon. Make sure that you read the readme.txt so you know which files to back up. Also, you can't play it multiplayer unless everyone has it installed, and even then I give no guarantee that it will work. Have fun!

bsgraupner When I do this the game crashes and says that the number of units does not equal num_unittypes.xml

How do I get around this?
bsgraupner I think it's RIDICULOUS that you make a mod that crashes peoples systems and then you don't answer their posts.

I installed your modification and I then got the error "number of units does not match NUM_UNITTYPES.XML" and my game crashed. I didn't back up those 4 files he has in his mod (files unittypes, soundtypes, help, and unitgraphics) so I had to reinstall.

It won't install though! It's having an error on installation and is saying to try again! UGGGH!

Can you send me these four files so I can fix my game that your mod has crashed?

Well... I posted this mod back in 2003 and haven't really check these forums for over four years probably, so that is why I haven't responded. If you are still checking up on this site a year and a half after your post, then I hope this helps a little...

So the deal is that I posted this mod before Thrones and Patriots was released, and I don't mention that since... well, how could I?

I assume your are getting those errors because you are trying to install the mod in T&P, which has a different number of units, and that is why you are getting errors about the number of units.

Also, I did mention in the readme file that you should backup some specific files if you want to return to your original settings.
