THIS SCENARIO IS HARD. THIS SCENARIO IS FOR THE COMMANDER WHO IS WILLING TO RISK EVERYTHING TO WIN!
The playability is well-crafted. There are many high-intensity moments, and the little gong that sounds that "You have reinforcements" is music to your ears. Don't expect to get off easily though. This is one tough cookie to crack and the Russians have at least a 3 to 1 superiority in numbers, plus the towers and bunkers, watch yourself.
The balance of the game is barely acceptable. The amount of units in the game is wonderful, and the amount of time conjouring up new ways to fight off the horde of Communists is great. The Balance issue comes in the amount of Redoubts and Bunkers strewn throughout this map. They are more than an annoyance and deterence to actual gameplay that anything else. Too many of them. Wayyyyy too many. Try and next time use entrenching generals with units that have the stand ground command.
Creativity was well thoughtout. I could see where he was going with it. It wasn't implemented too well, but it was going places.

He just took a normal random made map and used it. No biggie. Though I noticed he added many trees for a good bottle neck effect. This was the only place where I would've appreciated a COUPLE of WELL PLACED towers and redoubts.
Yes, this was the biggest tank battle in history, and a good one at that. The Instructions are K.I.S.S. and easy to do with.
Tactics On Scenario:
The scenario opens up with you having three armies. One in the north, one in the west, and one in the east (this one is your biggest). You should designate the three armies accordingly on the hotkeys. Your first objective is to capture Batuvo with your armies on the west and the north. Move your Eastern army towards the redoubts and bunkers in that area, and start to get rid of them. You'll need them out of the way for your drive on Prokhorovka. The problem is that the Eastern army is going to be hit with a mass wave of infantryman, so be prepared for that.
Your Northern and Western armies should be focusing on taking Batuvo, and fortifying it as quickly as possible. At regular intervals, the Russians recieve reinforcements at Prokhorovka and send them your way. This happens everytime your recieve reinforcements.
Your Eastern Army should be methodically destroying the redbouts and bunkers while inching closer to Prokhorovka. You should be reinforcing your Western and Northern army with your reinforcements, but if you can manange, send one of these reinforcements to help the Eastern Army, which should be dwindling in units by now.
Once the Eastern Army has passed through the redoubts you have two choices. You can:
A. Advance the Western and Northern Armies on Oboyan and prepare for the final assault on Kursk. While using just the Eastern Army to assault Prokhorovka.
B. Send the smallest of the two armies at Baturo to assist the Eastern Army in its assault on Prokhorovka, and wait with the other army for the assault on Oboyan.
Capturing Prokhorovka stops the Russian reinforcements, but be prepared for the Russian response. Once you take the city, the Russians send a mass wave to attack the city and its beleaguered defenders. Be prepared to lose much of your force.
Once you succeed in holding Prokhorovka, attack Oboyan and start massing your forces there. Once you think you are ready, begin your push towards Kursk, which is the northern most city on the map. The city is defended handsomely by nothing but a mass ring of bunkers and redoubts. Take the city however you want to.
Hope that helps, Ivan Antonov

Additional Comments:Very well done. Youhave to try this on the hard level seting or higher.
I really enjoyed playing this scenario, i like scenarios that give a challenge for the players but are also not impossible to win, it was just there in the middle.
the scenario wasnt so hard, you gave the player way too many units in the Repeatedly coming reinforcments.
very creative and fun scenario to play with. you gave the player many options and ways of finishing the scenario, that finally end in kursk.
Map Design: 4
you took a random map and decorated it, and its just fine cause it looked nice.
You added story and instructions to the scenario and matched the scenario and the script for story, instructions that were very clear, well done.
I really liked this scenario. you landed right in the spot between the challenging and moderated planned scenarios to give a chance to the less trained players too. I liked the way you gave some options to finish the scenario which drains at combining your forces to take kursk.
