Black Revolution is intended to be a continuation of Freedoggy77's Negro Revolution. The fictional storyline picks up in late 1963, in Virginia, after Dr King's successful campaigns in Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas. Their are two single player scenarios included in the file. The scenarios take place in metropolitan areas, cramped quarters to set traps or starve out your opponnent. |

wakain, nobody is going to win this one. MLK as you remember doesn't have much time left. The battles were intended for 1 year increments; lets be honest, they would have never gotten to Atlanta, too many elite units (even in the 60s) in surrounding region much less, georgia and NC. It's a fictional sequel for play, the same as freedoggy's version(which truly was fun to play-was my first download). Anyway play the scenarios tell what you think...he may live a little longer. |

Yes, by the way "Whitey" is just as bad as Negro,colored,etc..
Yes, in theory, most of the disenchanted from the WORKING class during this period, continue to migrate towards the Senators in their region of the country, creating larger militias, seizing resources, while accunulating strength in numbers. Did you like the opportunist way they get a Navy? I don't think Norfolk could fix all those ships in a year.
The same thing that happen during the civil war, free and runaway slaves joined the Union army in large numbers. As far as it spreading (another scenario), I have to figure a way to link campaigns from the West(LA,SF) with the Midwest (KC,CHI), and where it ends in PEACE. And I don't have the brain power to put that together just yet. I am new to the game, working on a special ops scenario and having a time writing scripts, I can't seem to figure out how to determine the x, y factors (numbers) to move/attack units automatically on the map. No I am not a programmer, stop laughing,..too busy yelling @ monitor.. marce |

ROFL a sequel. I can't wait to play, but I can't right now. I'll review later. BTW "Negro" is the proper term for a black person besides African American. I think you are thinking of the "N" word, which I can't exactly type here. |

freedoggy77-No, the two words are totally different, believe me, been called both.
The term/label Negro, to give you a little clarity,in text or speech was acceptable in the 1960s, the date you started the fictional story. I remember as far back as the 70s, census forms and other ferderal documents still used the term.
However, the term is outdated now, and can be offensive to some who are unaware of its place in our history or are quick to judge, in this case your intentions. I have accepted the apology given.
More importantly for me,your storyline was creative, which got me started in playing scenarios from this site. I downloaded your Texas scenario, haven't got a chance yet to play, hoping just as good. |
