Caveman Onslaught

Needs T&P?: Yes
The thawed out cavemen have found a leader and travelled across the North Sea in rudimentery rafts. Now, they have reached Edinburgh and it is your duty to stop them before they can enter Britain.
Note: This isn't really a proper scenario, I realise there isn't a great deal of strategic scope but it is a good laugh so download(The enemy is rather on top of you when you start-this was a complaint about one of my other scenarios; Dien Bien Phu, that it meant you couldn't use much strategy)
Also, there may be a delay for play to sart once the level has loaded, don't worry- wait a few seconds and it will work, also, the level might be rather slow when you start, again wait a few secs and it will be fine.

You're right. A VERY slow start. You could have inserted more enemy as needed, as opposed to all those units being generated at the start.

Balance: 4
Good. The difference in numbers is made up for by the difference in technology.

Creativity: 5
Original concept and storyline.

Map Design: 2
Uhhh...Doesn't get much more plain than this. Though I guess there wasn't much needed to get the point across.

Story/Instructions: 5
Instructions told you what you needed to know. The story was unique.

Additional Comments:
Good for a quick chuckle. Spellcheck might be a good to thing to check into.
marce61 See the humor, okay for a change of pace. I know your spelling is better that that. Try opening the script in notepad when your done, you can edit the popup dialog much easier. "you can scan all the way to the right". Then go back to the RON game, go to script editor, and re-compile your script.

As you said it slowed down but then it got back to normal so no real problems

It's about even though they captured my Cap and then with the reinforcements I took their's and they lost even though my timer was ticking down.

Creativity: 5
Who ever thought of Cavemen? Not I. Very original.

Map Design: 3
It's plain but it conveys the point across.

Story/Instructions: 5
Absouloutly hilarious. I loved the Victory comment!
Additional Comments: It's exactly as you said. Fun and good for laughs.

Additional Comments:
I'm trying to do something similar and need to speak with you regarding how you managed to hold the cave men to that time period! i need that info for my scenario. i'm running a belgian v. Congo scenario. i need to start the Belgians at the enlightenment and allow them to move to the industrial age. the congo people can not advance beyond the classical age. how could i do that?

For this scenario, I put the start age ancient and the end age info, i then went onto nation and technology and put me in info and them in ancient. however, short of not giving them resources(like i did here), there is nothing to stop them advancing ages, you could try putting the start and end age enlightenment, and them in classical, but i don't know if this would work and it wouldn't let you advance. theres probably a way you coulddo it with script, but my script skill aren't very good. try asking on the forum(when its back online)
JoelGothel Thank you very much. I'm still playing around with it. How did you get them to automatically just attack without falling back to build up strength?

The scenario wasn't too hard but not too easy either. It was good because there was some times when things weren't going well(Which is good for me otherwise it would be too easy.) but It was definatly possible.

Creativity: 4
It was very creative. It is a good plot and very creative.

Map Design: 2
This is the only part that could use work. The map design was o.k but it was pretty much all grass. It did apartment buildings which was good.

Story/Instructions: 3
The instructions were clear and as I said before, the plot is very creative.

Additional Comments:
Overall it's a good scenario.
