The bloodiest fight of the Second World War, the eastern front was truly a red front. Millions of Germans and Russians died in a four year slugging match. This campaign allows the player to fight from one battle to the next in twelve of the most influencial battles of the war.
This is a full campaign from 1941 to 1945 with 12 different scenarios that are (supposed to be) played in order. |

A little out of balance (check below) but that could also be because im kinda new to RON, but it kept me coming back for more and more!
Balance: 4
Even with the coming back for more and more I still couldn't beat the first two missions (Barbarossa and Odessa) and the last mission (Berlin)...Prokahov took me a few tries but i still got it...The only thing that kept me going was the hope for more Kaytushas!
Creativity: 5
There needs to be more scenario's of this caliber and creativity. As the Russians you just have to keep feeding the troops into the meat grinder and maybe eventually you're Infantry will take out the enemy Tank.
Map Design: 5
Great map making...I am a WWII buff, and some of these maps are just perfectly made with exacting details.
Story/Instructions: 5
Great stuff

Very good. Provided a story mode which was missing from the original.
Balance: 3
May be difficult to the inexperienced player. For example, the Moscow level, featuring wave after wave of German divisions may overwhelm some. However, this scenario is heavily recommended to the experienced player.
Creativity: 5
Good creativity- the packing and moving of factories behind the Urals (an actual event) was gloriously interpreted in a limited medium. Well done!
Map Design: 4
The maps correspond effectively to the geographical aspects of the theatres of the Eastern front.
Story/Instructions: 3
'Red Front' provides a relatively accurate depiction of the Eastern Front, though I would have to disagree with Veda's making Russia/USSR an Industrial Age nation and Germany Modern Age. Stalin's 5 year plans were finished by 1939/1941, and the USSR had most certainly reached the Modern Age. Such weapons as the PPsh (a SubMachine Gun) and the T34 tanks used in early to late WW2 back this up.
Additional Comments:
Overall, a laudable scenario which is invaluable to the RoN owner. Download! |

It didn't crash.No scripting errors.
Balance: 4
I couldn't beat most of them after reapted play(Barbarosa,Odessa,Keiv,Stalignrad,Bagaration, and Berlin) but I'm not that good.
Creativity: 5
Very welll done with intersting battles. It's the funnest history lesson I've ever taken.
Map Design: 5
Very Very well done.
Story/Instructions: 5
Not to much not to little and acurate.
Additional Comments: Awesome. I am awestruck. Plus it taught me to script.

I've played this campaign so many times and I never get bored of it. Red Front is the most famous RoN Campaign ever made and for that, it deserves a five in every single category. |

I had very fun playing the scenario, and it was perfectly planned so there will be no breaches or a way to complete an objective in a way that you obviously did not intend to be possible
Balance: 4
sometimes the scenario was just too hard, but the scenarios were palnned to be very challenging mostly.
Creativity: 5
The scenarios themselves were AMAZING. They were insanely scripted and precisely planned and made. you made all kinds of scenarios that ive never seen before and added many many triggers.
Map Design: 5
There were diffrent maps that were historical accurate and well made, it seems that you invested your time making them.
Story/Instructions: 5
Each scenario had its diffrent story and instructions, that finally all glued together to be the story of WW2 with its main battles on the east front. the instructions were very clear and gave you the full idea of how to play. very good on that too.
Additional Comments:
I think it was the best scenario sequence ever made in the RON editor. I am really speachless, just amazing really.
