Topic Subject: Never trust your allies!

Do not ever trust your allies, even if they seem friendly to you. Well, I wasn't ever betrayed by my allies, but rather, I've done it the other way round...

The alliance of British, Turks, and Germans(me) launched wave after wave of soldiers and tanks at the enemy, crippling their economies in one decisive strike. But the battle was costly.

The British had lost their entire army, and the German armor weren't faring too well. The Turks survived with 3 siege units and bits of infantry, escorted to safety by the Monarch.

Wealth and Metal
The Brits requested that the Germans, who had control of 30 Miners working in the presence of Smelters, fortify their territory for them. As the British were a barricade dividing the Germans and their nemesis: the Russians. They obliged, ringing British Cities with Redoubts and Bunkers.

They then started building up the borders, anti-air emplacements fitted behind a thick wall of concrete and steel. When defensive structures became too expensive, the Germans stopped their construction work.

Arrogance and Vengeance
The Brits weren't happy, as the Germans had half of the mountains on the map, and the Turks didn't have the force to support their own land either. The Germans, fearing mutual destruction, relecuantly summoned their farmers. What the British didn't know was that the Germans had also armed 30 V2 Rockets and at the same time, installed radar air defenses around British Airbases.

Treason and Betrayal
It wasn't until when German Tiger tanks rolled into London did the British notice that something was wrong. They cancelled their alliance, hoping that the now neutral territory will soften up the Nazi armor. Unfortunately, the Germans had already declared war on them, time has run out. RAF aircraft were scrambled... and swiftly kissed the ground when AA-guns opened fire. Tens of Highlanders were slaughtered by torrents of MG42 fire. Within two minutes London had fallen, all British defenses razed by V2 Vengeance weapons. As the battlefield lay strewn with dismembered men and horses. German Armored Cars swept across what was British territory, killing the now inactive civilians.

Pikemen and Machine Guns:
The Turks were horrified. They were still stuck in the Gunpowder Age and the primitive Pikemen wouldn't stand a chance against the German heavy armor. Their navy was limited to firing arrows at steel-plated Battleships. The leader quit, leaving a large island rich of resources to my hands. A small German force landed on the Turkish island, claiming their cities.

The Germans were strong once again, the Russians could no longer muster the strength to overrun the German borders. With the newly captured Statue of Liberty Leopard tanks rumbled through the harsh Russian winter unscathed, bringing the once mighty Russian Empire to it's knees.

There were several minor nations left: the Greeks, the Incan, and more Germans. But these nations were near destroyed by the alliance and could never gather any considerable strength, nor muster the resources to advance in Age. In the end, they formed a quick, fragile alliance which soon disbanded as all of it's members left.

You sure you didn't make this up? First you said the Turks had howitzers and a Comrade, but then later you said they were stuck in the Gunpowder Age. Heh.

Fun story anyway.
