this mod increases the armegedon clock, for Example:
if you play against 1 computer player you get 8-10 nuke launches.
Now you get 51 nuke launches for one computer player.
In theoryif you have 2 players (computer), you should get 102 nuke launches (51 X 2) and so on.
if you play with 2 computer the clokc will only have 2 nuke lauches, but dont be alarmed, the clock for the armegedon count down can only hold 2 digits, it will turn to 51 once you launches 51 nuke launches.

Now you can really Play the CTW: Cold war Campain like it should be played...... |

can we do something like, instead of cancelling nukes, make them extremely expensive (knowledge, wealthe, etc..)
and extremely slow to research?
cant we also have the embarge start the moment the nuke research starts instead of the moment it's first used?
I dont know how mods work, but is it possible to have nukes only possible after building a nuclear reactor, and once this is destroyed nukes dont work anymore? |

Why would you want to do that, Pisces? It's not realistic. People don't know the moment you start creating or researching nukes! Once you finish it, then you announce that you have it to the world and then you have MAD assurance. Until then, everything would be a secret. Now, if someone infiltrated the library, then yeah, embargoes would be kinda neat, at the cost of the spy who planted the informant.
I don't know why having a lot of nukes is such a popular modification. I've never used more than 3 in a game. I usually upgrade to stealth bombers and nuke the capital. Then, using the bombers, I wipeout all their libraries, forts, airfields and towers while I have my armies move in juggernaut fashion. Of course, in a sea map, I strike early to dominate the seas and post a whole lot of battleships and carriers off the coast.

in case you don't know:
this game is very unrealistic,
e.g. the americans,they can be played from the achaic ageuntill the info age,
instead of their unit art is british/meso- american,they are european normal.(!)
meso-americans have gunpowder units from the gunpowder age(!)just like the native americans(!),the native africans,the japanese and the mongols.the turkish and egyptian unit art is european(!)but their building art is special.
the maya's and inca's have both regular aztec early infantry.
the eagle warriors are (historically)aztec
just like the clubmen(who are the aztec regulars in real life)
so if this game is so extremely unrealistic already,why would we worry about something like a nuke,despite they are the worst thing of the game.(and we all know Iran builds on something nuclear)
